A series of laboratories on physical and virtual presence, community and city spaces.”We are here" followed a process involving a series of laboratories and workshops for the community.
The laboratories were held at Jaaga artspace Bangalore, and started out with a curiosity to let hello!earth’s approach ("New Adventures") meet the newest influences of technology research.It was to investigate strategies for creating artworks, that explore the relation between virtual and physical presence, and the inherent potential for creating meeting spaces, spaces for social action and interaction in city spaces.
The outcomes of the laboratories were shared in a participatory artwork unfolding on mobile phones and installation at the Indo-German Urban Mela in collaboration with the Goethe Institute in Bangalore June.
